Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair removal is considered the “Gold Standard” in hair removal methods. The process of removing hair entails the selective application of heat to the hair follicle. The hair bulb cells, which have a very high metabolic rate are destroyed while the rest of the surrounding tissue is spared. Our Dynamis Pro laser features the 1064 Nd:YAG wavelength, which is the wavelength of choice for hair removal. It selectively targets the hemoglobin present in the vessels feeding the hair follicle. Since the free hemoglobin is sparsely available in tissue and the 1064 Nd:YAG wavelength has lower affinity for melanin, this laser can be safely used on all skin types.
The 1064 Nd:YAG wavelength penetrates deeply, which means it can reach the deepest parts of the hair follicle. This makes the hair removal process very efficient, while minimizing collateral damage to the skin. In addition, the very short pulses make our procedure more comfortable that other laser hair removal treatments.
Most patients will experience a significant reduction in unwanted hair, after one treatment. Any future hair growth will usually be thinner and lighter, and much less pronounced than before. Follicles treated in the anagen phase will fall out in 2-3 weeks. Due to the hair growth cycle, several treatments will be required.

TREATMENT AREAS
We offer 6* sessions of laser hair removal, scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart, for the following treatment areas:
$400 – Small Areas: upper lip, middle brow, fingers, areola, chin, toes, navel, sideburns, outer ears
$700 – Medium Areas: underarms, lower arms, back of neck, front of neck, elbow, bikini line, shoulders, knees, feet
$1,000 – Large Areas: Full chest, lower stomach, upper back, lower back, full arms, upper legs, lower legs
* We do not think you will need 6 sessions. However, most spas quote prices for 6 sessions, so we are following suit.
