LASER SKIN RESURFACING
Laser Resurfacing
Laser Skin Resurfacing is a great treatment for people who want significant, noticeable results and lasting improvements to their skin. The treatment is optimal for patients wanting improvements in:
- Unwanted pigment
- Skin tightness
- Pore size
- Scar reduction
- Skin Quality.
LASER TREATMENT
We use the Fotona Dynamis Laser which operates with an erbium crystal, which provides a safer treatment, with less down time than a CO2 Laser. After numbing for 30 minutes, the doctor starts the two-step process.
STEP 1: Treats deep scaring, large pores, wrinkles, and/or discoloration.
STEP 2: Is a total face fractional blending peel. It is done with 50% overlap, using a brushing stroke to minimize laser marks while ensuring comprehensive peeling. We also use our Zmmer cooling system to further minimize discomfort and pain.
Immediately after the treatment, we use a thermal water spray for cooling La Roche-Posay Cicaplast gel to protect the skin barrier.
Dr. B will evaluate you one to two weeks prior to the treatment. His staff will take 3-D images of your skin to document pigment, inflammation, and wrinkles. They will measure your moisture level, we need > 35% moisture, to optimize the laser treatment.
Dr. B will then evaluate your inflammation, pigment issues, vascularity, moisture, and skin laxity.
Then he will create a pretreatment routine for your unique needs.
