EndoTight, based on the Fotona EndoLift protocol, is a minimally invasive laser procedure for facial tightening and contouring. The technique enhances jawline definition and tightens loose skin under the chin. It also improves acne scars and sagging skin. It can also address flaccidity in the underarms, abdomen, and thighs. It uses a micro-optical fiber under the dermis to heat subdermal tissue without requiring general anesthesia or incisions. EndoTight does not require general anesthesia or surgical incisions. EndoTight bridges the gap between noninvasive devices like RF microneedling and surgical facelifts.
How it works-
The patient’s face is numbed with tumescent anesthesia (a sterile saline/lidocaine mixture infused into the dermis through small skin ports). An entry port, typically in the upper lateral cheek, allows access to targeted areas. A fine laser fiber, with or without a cannula, is inserted and moved through the superficial fat layer. As it is withdrawn, laser energy remodels deep dermal collagen and melts small fat pockets, enhancing tissue tightening.
Most patients see immediate tightening due to collagen contraction, but the best results appear after several months as new collagen forms in treated areas. These effects peak in 3-6 months and can last for years.
Post-procedure care involves wearing a support garment for one week. Further treatment may address pigmentation, eye laxity, or volume loss (Sculptra is effective). Resurfacing is possible, but not on the same day as EndoTight.
